Read carefully please…

To make sure we all understand the terms under which we are doing business, we are obliged to set out the following terms and conditions between us.


Seller, Us, Our, We – Dipped and Duste d Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd.

Hirer, Client, You, Your – the person who is booking the product/services from us even when booking on someone else’s behalf, as in the case of an events company or booking agent.

Workshop, Event – any Chocolate Workshop, Chocolate Tasting & Pairing, Chocolate Corporate Event or Chocolate Kiddies Event.

Booking Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all events. This document must be signed and received by Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd, along with proof of payment of deposit, at least two weeks before the start of the event. The outstanding amount is to be settled on the day of the event, via EFT, or  within 3 days of the event taking place, via EFT.  Until receipt of signed T’s and C’s and deposit, all bookings are considered tentative and Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops  (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to re-book the event date. Unfortunately no refunds are offered. Please note that while we will do our best to accommodate any changes, we cannot guarantee that the client will be able to change the time and/or date of his/her event.


If the booking is cancelled by you, charges other than the full payment may be payable. These charges will normally be for non-refundable expenses already paid for accommodation, flights, vehicle hire, equipment hire, staffing, stock purchased or other related costs to carry out the booking for you. All cancellations must be made in writing by you; we cannot accept telephone calls to cancel a booking. If the booking is cancelled by you 28 – 15 days before the event, 50% of the balance payment will be due. If the booking is cancelled by you 14 – 8 days before the event, 90% of the total booking price is due. If the booking is cancelled by you 7 days or less before the event the full amount is payable and no refund can be made.


The onus is on the client to alert Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd to any allergies, that any guests might suffer from, well in advance. As all of our recipes and products could contain traces of nuts, we strongly advise that guests suffering from nut allergies not partake in our workshops. Please note that at the time of sending this document, no allergies (nut or any other kind) had been communicated and so the price quoted for this event does not include any substitutes for products that may cause allergic reactions.


Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd, its shareholders and staff, cannot be held liable for any loss or injury suffered during any events on the client’s premises, the premises of Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd or the premises of any third party.

Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd is in default of any of its obligations hereunder,  it shall not be liable where such default is due to any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest, snow, mechanical breakdown or any other event beyond the reasonable control of the Seller. In such circumstances, Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops (Pty) Ltd will give notice to the client where possible, and be entitled to retain the initial deposits and be released from performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent the event of supervening impossibility prevents or restricts Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshop (Pty) Ltd.’s performance.
